The graves of many key figures in the struggle for Irish Independence through several centuries. Including Daniel O’ Connell, Michael Collins, Charles Stewart Parnell, Éamon de Valera, Arthur Griffith, Countess Markievicz, Michael Cusack, Robert Erskine Childers, Roger Casement, Frank Ryan, Sean Devoy, Cathal Brugha, James Stephens along with many Dublin Brigade Irish Republican Army veterans of the Easter Rising 1916, the Irish War of Independence (1919 - 1921) and Irish Civil War (1921 - 1923).

Volunteer Thomas Smith, Shot in Portlaoise Prison, 17th March 1975, erected by his comrades Dublin Brigade, Óglaigh na hÉireann. Vol. Bob Smith died 9th Nov 1998 aged 67 years. Always remembered and loved by Bridie, Family and Comrades. Also in memory of Patrick Smythe, Drogheda Co. Louth and Peter Sears, Neale, Co.Mayo killed in action during Mutiny of Connaught Rangers July 1920. Re-interred from Dayshai Prison yard by the National Graves Association. In Loving memory of my dear Husband Capt. John C. King T.O.S.F West Connemara A.S.U. I.R.A 1921-1922 died 27th September 1978. In Loving memory of Frank Scullin, died 14h May 1961 late of F.coy, 1st Battalion Dublin Brigade, I.R.A also Scottish brigade and Kimmage garrison. Des Cox, South Fermanagh Brigade I.R.A., Armach representative N.G.A, Died 4th February 2000. Seamus Mac Ciarnain, n.g.a 1928-2010. Pat Shannon, Vol. Óglaigh na hÉireann, Galway- Dublin 1900-1984, Mich Sheehan, Vol. Óglaigh na hÉireann, Died 17th August 1998. Peadar Timmins, Richard Timmins, Óglaigh na hÉireann.
