Collins Barracks Military Museum, Dublin, Ireland. Featuring the newly restored Asgard, the Irish Volunteers Gun running boat from the 1916 Rising. Included also are pictures taken at the 1916 exhibition, the War of Independence section and the general Irish Military history exhibits. Featuring a Sikh six pounder cannon, Ford Armoured car (as used at the Siege of Jadotville), Bren Gun carrier (universal carrier), Timoney Armoured Personnel carrier Mark VI, Landswerk L60 Light tank, AA Gun, 120mm Mortar and a Miles Magister Mk I. Included also are the long coat of Michael Collins as worn at Béal na mBláth alongside the effects of General Liam Lynch, commanding general of the Irish Republican Army during the Irish Civil War (with the personalised rifle he had at the time of his death, with a British Army Lancers ‘Death or Glory’ badge liberated during a War of Independence attack at Mallow).
