Polizeischule der Prov. Pommern zu Treptow-Rega 1933-1935

Photo album of Walter Scholz who trained at Polizeischule Treptow/Rega in Pommern (now Trzebiatow, Poland) 1933-1935. Opened in 1901 Treptow served as a German army NCO School, closed by the Versailles treaty it operated as a Polizeischule throughout the 1920's and returned to German army ownership in approximately late 1935. Walter Scholz was a Polizei anwarter who went through this Polizeischule in the early 1930's period. Included are photographs of Block I, II, III, IV & Kommandeurgebäude der Polizeischule Treptow, Rega & Unteroffizierschule decorated with floral SS Runes. Also included are images of Polizei General Karl Strecker Kommandeur der Landespolizei-Inspektion Nord (Stettin) 11.11.1933 - 14.06.1935. Strecker later fought at Stalingrad & awarded Knights Cross (26th October 1941) and German Cross in Gold (25th January 1943) along with senior officers. One ancillary location is possibly Stettin/Szczecin.
